As part of the Safety Team, this individual will oversee and enforce the company & customer's safety policies in Jackson, AL. This position is full time with benefits. This individual must be willing to work overtime as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Carry Out Site's Safety Policies and Company's Safety Policies Through Field Audits
- Employee Drug Screenings
- Oversee Safety Meetings with Crews
- Visit Weekly Designated Jobsites to Evaluate and Reinforce Safety Procedures
- Report Back to Safety Director on Safety Topics and Areas of Concern
- Create Innovative New Ways to Maintain Safety Throughout the Company
- Evaluate JSA's from All Sites
- Follow All OSHA Standards
Skills Needed:
- Efficient communication skills to work with supervisors, employees, site personnel, and office personnel
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Email
- Capable of using a laptop and smart phone
Requirements:
- OSHA 30 (or Higher)
- Must Pass Background Check
- Must Pass Employment Drug Screen
- Minimum 3 Years Experience
