As a UX designer/researcher , you'll take what users want, need, and expect from the products we create, and push those expectations into front-end ideas. You're innovative, quick-thinking, and know what's happening in the online UX space. Your interaction design skills are second to none, and you have a knack for making complex information clear for stakeholders, project managers, developers, and UI designers. The ideal candidate will have an aptitude for team collaboration and thrive in an environment that requires self-direction. Ultimately, you'll create functional UX features that address the needs of our customers and help us grow our business.
What you'll do:
- Interact extensively with product owners, business sponsors, and industry experts to serve as the voice of the user while accommodating customer needs and technical requirements
- Bring user-centered design (UCD) techniques to our customer-facing domains, from concept to launch
- Work directly with stakeholders and the digital channel team to define UX project scope and strategy
- Utilize tools such as personas, voice-of-customer insight, analytics, business analysis, and competitive analysis to inform your UX ideas
- Conduct research and competitive analysis
- Create user flows/maps, use cases, wireframes, concepts, interactive prototypes, and presentations to convey your ideas
- Collaborate with other UX and UI Designers on design concepts, prototypes, mockups, and final UX/UI requirements
- Assist and lead with user-testing decisions from strategy to reporting while working with a test moderator
- Participate in discovery meetings, release planning, grooming, stand-ups, validation testing, launch, and post-release support as needed
For this UX Analyst position, you must have demonstrated expertise at capturing the essence of usability issues and clearly communicating them to non-technical audiences using screen capture, PowerPoint documentation, and interactive commentaries. Additional requirements for the UX Analyst role include: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related information technology field • 2 years of experience applying research to interactive design, prototyping, and product development for website and web-based applications, or platform-level tools • Strong analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to make sound recommendations based on observed user behavior and prior experience • Excellent oral and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to think logically
