About the role:

We're looking for a Social Media Manager to join our team focused on Crema by Mitu's brand development. Crema is mitú's new music-focused brand where music and our vibrant culture intersect. The ideal candidate is a music fan through and through with affinity across genres but especially keen on the artists that represent our diverse cultures. This person must be someone who is always listening for the next big hit and that friend who loves to share their favorite playlist. We're looking for someone who can speak music with our rapidly-growing audience on social media.

At the same time, the social media manager has an innate sense for telling a story on social platforms, the skill to spark conversation, the tact to create engaging videos, and the agility to respond to news and trending topics, all while maintaining a strong brand voice. This person would also have a thirst for analytics and be able to dig into data to understand what specific content is resonating and why. We're looking for someone who thrives on growth and can pull insights from analytics tools and combine data points with creativity to create successful social content that'll multiply our audience and foster community on our platforms. Ideally, the right candidate would also have the itch to attend music events to cover on social media and to network for future opportunities.

This person will work closely with our VP of Brands to help steer the creative behind the crema voice in the form of social, editorial and video content across all of our social accounts including, but not limited to Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter and Facebook.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategize social media activations across platforms that will increase engagement and grow audiences
  • Drive the crema voice across social media platforms
  • Create and execute highly engaging social posts on FIERCE's various social platforms
  • Lead on-camera conversations
  • Monitor social channels, respond to mentions on social feeds
  • Identify trends on platforms and execute into creative assets
  • Source new and emerging talent that aligns with the crema brand

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience on Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, and Twitter
  • Photoshop
  • Strong understanding of performance-driven formats on social media platforms
  • Ability to efficiently multitask in a fast-paced environment and execute flawlessly
  • Interest in attending music events and covering for social media
  • Basic video editing skills to put together highly engaging videos on but not limited to Tiktok and Instagram Reel

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
