Our client, a leader in the foodservice industry, distribution, and manufacturing logistics, is looking for a Human Resources Representative.
Job Summary
The HR representative serves as the lead HR representative for assigned business leaders and their teams, providing HR support and guidance to area employees and team members. She partners with area human resources employees to make plans that effectively address tactical and strategic business priorities. She supports and delivers company-wide or division-wide human resource programs and processes within the business. She ensures that all human resource and management practices within the company comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Consulting with line management and providing daily HR guidance
- Analyzing trends and metrics with the HR department
- Resolving complex employee relations issues and address grievances
- Provide HR policy guidance
- Process employee data like leaves and benefits
- Export regular and ad hoc reports from our internal databases (for example, headcount and turnover reports)
- Train system users on functionalities and new features
- Gather payroll data like wages and working hours
- Answer employee's query about HR-related issues
- Prepare material for human resources audits and investigations and follow-up with relevant parties
- Recruit and hiring process for US employees and international contractor
- Work in a team with HR manager in internal communication, performance management,
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor of Human Resources, Organizational Leadership or related field; o relevant human resource training or certifications
- 2 years of progressive experience in Human Resources or related field
- Basic legal and compliance knowledge of HR.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle ambiguity.
- Demonstrated ability to lead highly functional teams.
- Fully bilingual
