Since 1978, Cherry Creek Door and Window Company began as a wood window and door manufacturing company in 1978 with a specialty focus on replacement windows for pre-1940 Seattle homes. Over the years we refined the brands and products that we offer to cover a wide variety of projects and applications.

What We're looking for:
We are looking for someone who is adaptable, and capable of prioritizing tasks, our Front Desk has a variety of basic job responsibilities, such as greeting and directing visitors, answering phones, sorting incoming mail, coordinating deliveries, stocking office supplies, photocopying, and filing; and will also need to accommodate requests to support individuals and departments as they happen.
Most of the work is done at a visible front desk in order to welcome visitors, answer their questions, and guide them to the appropriate person or place. We are looking for candidates that are organized, communicate well, practice excellent time-management. We are looking for an independent and self-motivated individual, as this person is often by themselves in the showroom. Computer, interpersonal and communication are paramount to successful candidates in this role.

The Specifics:
Overview:
The Front Desk in the Cherry Creek showroom, is the first point of contact for many of Cherry Creek's customers, as such your primary role is to support all members of the Cherry Creek team in delivering exceptional customer service, by maintaining a welcoming environment, ensuring the smooth flow of product and information.

This role directly supports the accounting, inside sales, outside sales, field operations, service operations, and the shipping department.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers as they enter the showroom
- Answering phones; assisting customers, directing calls to the appropriate team member
- Checking and forwarding voicemail messages
- Maintain outstanding showroom condition, cleanliness, and visual standards (tidying, taking out trash & recycling, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, bathroom)
- Sorting mail
- Receiving and stocking office supplies
- Deposit Checks, file on the server and notify accounting team and sales team through appropriate channels
- Process and record credit card transactions, notify accounting
- File order signoff paperwork and notify the appropriate team member
- Tracking Paint for in progress orders, prompting customers for their paint, receiving paint from customer, labeling with the order # and use, tracking in the database and shipping to our Burlington factory

Qualifications
- Working knowledge of wood windows and doors, installation
- Working knowledge of the new construction and remodeling phases
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Clear Customer Service Focus
- Friendly, helpful, confident & engaging personality
- Basic understanding of sales principles & customer service practices
- Basic understanding or administrative practices
- Advanced computer skills, including experience with Google and Microsoft Office Suites, and Airtable
- Familiarity with office management and basic accounting principles
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
- Ability to stand, sit crouch, kneel multiple times a day for 8 hours a day.
- Light lifting that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
- Frequently Moving about, including stairs, to accomplish tasks.
