Order Entry Control Specialist

The Order Entry Control Specialist will find satisfaction in providing consistent, error free results by keeping an eye out for errors in orders.
Compensation: $20-$24 Per Hour
Job Responsibilities:
· Order Entry Control (the "OE") receives all Process Order and Process Change Order Action Items and performs the necessary steps into ERP system.
· Verify the accuracy of pricing being applied and update correct pricing into the Literature Library (In DAM)
· Verify orders are correct in accuracy of (Cost, Colors, Shipping) before entering.
· Responsible for creating proper vendor purchase orders to communicate next steps for the project workflow.
· Complete Vendor setup forms and enter the data directly into the portal
· Pre-Qualify construction companies and review the contracts payroll before signing off on them.
· The OE verifies the validity of the customer order and ensures that the Sell Price entered in the ERP software matches the order and that the Quote is properly documented.
· Action items required for down payments, drawing's customer approvals, need to be monitored to determine if the payment has been received, and then processed.
· Providing Certificate of Insurance to Sales Representatives if requested for new customers or new contracts.
· Coordinating the initial calculation and reporting of expected contract value and comparing to actual costs as the projects progress. This process can include determining if any certified Payroll/Prevailing Wage is needed.
· When a bid is requested for proposals, the OE completes necessary forms and requests bond from surety.
Qualifications:
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
· 100% Remote, however must live in DFW area
· Have strong organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail.
· A complete understanding of how the "downstream" workflow is affected by Order Entry, and eventually the effect on SSG's accounting controls, is crucial.
· Strong Judgement skills in identifying potential credit risk exposure in accepting orders from customers without a down payments.
