Influential is looking for a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) specialist to work with our Director of Influential U on understanding NCAA, state, and school NIL guidelines while also having knowledge on student-athletes and the NIL talent agencies that are representing them.

In general, on a typical day you will:
Work with our Director of Influential U- Assist Sales Coordinators and campaign managers on NIL campaigns
- Help source talent for campaigns, research new and existing NIL rules or changes, ideate new concepts that align with making Influential U the top resource for NIL brand campaigns
- Research brands that enter the NIL space and discover brands that Influential U should target for NIL campaigns
- Support development of new strategic partnerships by managing key action items and ad hoc requests for business needs
- Identify prospective strategic partners by conducting thorough research and building prospect lists
- Communicate with sales and account management to understand partner/prospect needs/objectives to create new/customized integrated and compelling sales assets
- Assist in the design and execution of prospect outreach
Being an NIL Strategist requires:
- A general legal understanding of NCAA, state, and school laws for NIL
- Organization and communication of NIL to all internal team members and external clients
- Knowledge and passion of the sports and entertainment industry
- Exceptional communication to deliver a clear, concise, and compelling messaging to internal and external partners
- Writing skills for emails and newsletters and how to put together Google Docs and Sheets
- Understanding across various social media platforms while staying updated on current and new trends
Bonus points if:
- Graphic design experience/knowledge
- Previous experience running social media accounts
- Fostered relationships with current talent agencies, athletes, or brands
