The primary purpose of this position is to distribute, organize, track, store and maintain records for resident clothing.
Essential Functions:
Maintain control of resident clothing.
Distribute on a daily basis, all resident clothes that have been washed making sure that the name and room number is accurate and legible. If not, the item needs to be relabeled.
Organize resident's closets
When new or used clothing is received for a resident, need to complete Resident Clothing Form identifying items received. If there are any T.V.'s, DVD's, VCR's etc. they must be logged onto the Resident Clothing Form.
Develop and maintain positive working relationship with other employees.
Interact with residents and their families using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, to follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.
Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of laundry areas, for sanitation, order, and safety.
Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing laundry practices.
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixture of cleaning compounds, liquids, cleaning instructions, etc.
