Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons, to transport materials to and from specified destinations, and works in production lab performing warehouse duties and general lab duties as required
- Inventory all items scheduled for delivery/Pick up
- Palletize all items securely for delivery
- Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations
- Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instruction.
- Loads and unloads truck. This requires usage of a picker/fork lift and electric pallet jack
- Makes sure load is secure for transport
- Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water
- Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains
You will also learn to:
- Creating pack kits to ship books back and forth between lab and client
- Using UPS WorldShip software for Air and Ground shipments
- Assist the production clerk organize sets of records in the vault
- Assisting in quality control measures and checking for product defects
- Mending documents as necessary using a variety of tools
- Deacidifying and preserving records
- Encapsulate book text blocks
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
Must have basic computer skills.
Certificates and Licenses:
Must have a clean DMV record and background check.

Pay rate up to $22 per hour with overtime available
