Interior Logic Group is seeking an Installation Labor Recruiter for our Phoenix, AZ Cotton Center region. The qualified candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to perform at a high level. This position is very hands-on and is a high-volume recruitment role. This position reports to the Arizona Labor Department Leader and will support the recruitment for all subcontractor installation labor and in house installation and customer service positions. The ideal candidate should have strong residential flooring (tile, carpet, wood, vinyl), cabinet and countertop experience and project management skills. Applicants should have an entrepreneurial mindset and be goal-orientated. They should also be able to work well individually with minimal supervision and as a team.
Position Responsibilities

  • Develops sources of qualified applicants, screens, evaluates qualifications, schedules, and conducts interviews, checks references and background.
  • Develops and maintains contacts with educational institutions, community leaders, employment development agencies, placement firms, and other sources of applicants.
  • Determines internet online recruiting strategies for attracting and recruiting candidates.
  • Cold calls, screens, and schedules applicants for interviews with hiring managers.
  • Develops and manages on-campus and off-site recruitment programs including job fairs, trade shows, and media presence.
  • Manages automated resume and applicant tracking systems.
  • Maintains data on recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
  • Consults with management to prepare projections, and employment policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Manages and tracks candidate flow and the sources
  • Schedules and / or Attends community or academic functions as ambassador to the company i.e., job fairs community fairs, job talks, VA functions.
  • Responsible for providing staffing services to local or regional office hiring managers as assigned.
  • Adheres to all federal, state, and local laws governing employment process.
  • Creates visual media to canvas community with. i.e., in person / canvassing, social media.
  • Performs searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, and other recruiting resources.
  • Develops strong relationships and partner with hiring manager, business leaders and HR.
  • Works closely with Hiring Managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.
  • Maintains contact and networks with licensed contractors and tradespeople in region.

Position Qualifications

  • 4 years of recruiting experience required with a construction background preferred.
  • Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing in English and Spanish.
  • Demonstrates ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
  • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods.
  • Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office.
