Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Wingspan Life Resources has Part Time, Full Time, and On Call openings for committed, high-quality Direct Support Professionals (DSP) providing services to people with developmental and other disabilities in our group homes in Saint Paul and Shoreview. Experience is not required and paid training is provided. Some openings include sleep and awake overnight shifts.
What You Will Do:
DSPs are the foundation of Wingspan's services. The DSP is an assistant to our clients with their daily routines, home care, and medical administration. They build relationships, implement individual program plans, participate with our clients in recreational activities, and perform other duties as necessary. The DSP is responsible to protect and promote the health, safety and well-being of each individual.

Currently, you can take advantage of our fantastic $1500 sign-on bonus for all of our DSP positions: $500 after the first 4 months of service, $500 again after 8 months, and an additional $500 after 1 year. Employees scheduled to work 20 hours or more are offered: PTO Accrual, Company Paid Life, Short-term, Long-term disability insurance, and enrollment in our 401(k) plan fully vested and matched at 4%.

Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate, read, and write in English
- Must be comfortable using a computer
- The ability to successfully pass a background check as determined by the Department of Human Services
- A valid Driver's License, reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance, and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check
- A passion for helping individuals feel happy, successful, and safe in their lives highly desired
