Instructional Technologist
Full-Time Temporary Position (can be remote)
Rate of Pay: $25 an hour

Job Description:
The position works collaboratively with a team to support innovative learning technologies in designing and developing immersive learning solutions. The position completes large and small-scale technology learning projects.
Duties to include:
- Design and author online/blended learning solutions to foster immersive learning experiences
- Recommend and incorporate various media (audio, video, simulations, virtual reality)
- Assist with planning, testing, and implementation of new technologies and services
Knowledge:
Expertise in educational technology, instructional design, learning science, training, digital media.
Skills:
Ability to create online/blended instructional learning.
Ability to integrate immersive learning technologies into learning solutions.
Departmental Preferences:
- Experience designing and creating online/blended instructional training and/or course materials
- Experience creating and supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, etc)
- Ability to interact with software applications and understand functionality
- Must have an organized, systematic approach to tasks
- Knowledge of and desire to learn more about the educational potential of technology
- A working knowledge of a variety of common desktop/cloud-based applications for instruction
