Kumon Math and Reading Center of Bellevue - East is a fast growing after school program for children aged 3-17. Kumon is a structured, proven self-learning program that gives its students the critical thinking skills and mindset to learn new materials independently. Our staff consists of friendly, intelligent, highly-motivated individuals who can guide and inspire our young students.
Our center is open on Mondays, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm and on Saturday from 9am - 11am, year round. This is a part- time position for individuals who are interested in working long-term and can work one or more of the shifts. Shift start times can be flexible and typically end a half hour after the center closes.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Grading Math and Reading assignments from answer keys
- Observing students in need of developing study skills
- Guiding students learning to read and speak English
Requirements:
- Math and Reading aptitude
- Enjoys helping students achieve success
- Responsible, reliable, nice, understanding
- Can take direction since the Kumon program has specific teaching methods
