This role is located in Columbus, GA. We have 2 openings. Nights (6pm-6am)
Hostess Brands, LLC, is a large packaged food company focused on developing, manufacturing, marketing, selling and distributing fresh baked sweet goods in the United States such as Ding Dongs®, Ho Hos®, Donettes® and Fruit Pies, in addition to Twinkies®, CupCakes, Voortman's Cookies and Wafers.
The Maintenance Supervisor - Engineering supervises and trains maintenance personnel in the upkeep of existing equipment and the installation of new equipment. In this role, you will plan and direct engineering and maintenance activities for a work shift.
This Person will be Responsible For:
- Supervising and leading inventory and machine shop employees to meet planned objectives.
- Managing and coaching your team to achieve all production goals. This includes a focus on scheduling, training, corrective actions, and maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices and corporate standards.
- Ensuring that all safety and quality guidelines are met.
- Ensuring the preventive maintenance program is performed in accordance with company standards.
We'd Love to Hear from People with these Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree in Engineering, or related field is preferred
- A desire to learn and grow through our Engineering training program
- Food manufacturing experience is a plus
- Leadership experience is desired.
