This position is based in Greenville, SC and will be required to work on any shift as necessary and be responsible for a growing number of direct reports. The position will coordinate manufacturing operations on the shift(s).
Job Description:
Responsible for operating manufacturing machines for passive components industry. This position will be responsible for reading and understanding the process specifications, using process controls, completing shop floor paperwork and inspecting for quality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform all functions associated with the operation of equipment within the department
- Learn new job functions as needed
- Monitoring the production process and carrying out basic testing and quality checks
- Train other operators in the setup and operation of equipment within the department
- Ensures proper manufacturing procedures are followed, adhering to all safety policies and procedures and quality regulations and standards
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Basic chemical handling
- Strong attention to detail
- Applied math and technical skills
- Basic data entry and computer skills
- Use of basic tools
- Maintain reliable attendance
