Purpose/Scope of Position
Maintains database by entering new and updated customer and account information. Using excellent customer service skills establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and vendors whom you come into contact with. Assist management in development of reports and data necessary for decision making. Collect and store accurate and detailed data into reports and systems used for Key Performance Indicators. Employee should be a self starter and work with minimal supervision. Employee works under the supervision of the Office Manager.
Responsibilities/Duties (inclusive of but not limited to):
- Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information, establishing entry priorities.
- Processes source documents, reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to production for resolution.
- Enters data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information according to format.
- Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
- Verifies entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; combining data from multiple sources and processes when information is incomplete; purging files to eliminate duplication of data.
- Tests process changes and upgrades by inputting new data; reviewing output.
- Secures information by completing data base backups.
- Scan documents into document management systems or databases.
- Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential, timely, and relevant.
Education/Training
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Formal computer training necessary
- Microsoft Excel experience necessary
Skills
- Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment.
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Willing to work with others, collaborating and compromising where necessary; promptly share relevant information with others.
- Open to changing situations and is willing to perform all tasks when and where assigned.
- Reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.

- Experience working in a dairy processing facility a plus.
