Sage Music is an award winning music school, with locations in New York City, NY and our online headquarters in San Antonio, TX. We are seeking an experienced individual to work alongside a busy company owner and become an important part of a fast growing team.
This person will be expected to perform a wide variety of tasks, help keep long term projects on track, and manage the day to day operations of the business. An ideal candidate is responsive, thoughtful, self-directed, positive, has a can-do attitude, can solve problems, and is seeking a challenging role.
The right candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in business management and excels at managing staff.
How you will assist the company:
- Assist Sage Music Founder with Accounting and Finance, Human Resources Management, Communication, Tech Administration, Scheduling and Business Development
- Manage Staff
- Oversee daily operations
- Project Management
- Track Key Metrics / KPIs
- Reporting
- Team Cohesion and Development
- Company Communications
- Record Keeping
- Other duties as required

About the Founder
Jason Sagebiel, founder of Sage Music, is a retired US Marine, veteran of the Iraq war, assistant professor at the City University of New York, and director of the NYC Guitar Orchestra.
As a musician he has given more than 30 world premiere performances. He has conducted at Carnegie Hall multiple times, and has appeared there as a soloist.He's worked with members of the Philip Glass Ensemble, The Metropolitan Opera, Nine Inch Nails, the B-52s, and several and Grammy and Emmy award winning composers.
As a business professional he has worked on the front lines in small companies and has held director level positions at two major corporations.
His inspiring story has been featured in the media and in two books: Listening to War, and Sound Targets.
