This is a seasonal customer support position. You will be taking incoming calls, as well as responding to emails and chats as needed to help customers with information on how to order testing kits and other COVID related information.
You will need to feel comfortable "helping others" which means that you should expect to handle calls that can evoke emotions but likewise result in a sense of satisfaction because you know that you are helping a fellow neighbor in need.
What you will do
? This is a completely remote position, you will work 100% of your shift from home.
? Answering questions regarding products or services the customer may have, using empathy and compassion.
? Documenting customer interactions in the client system thoroughly, using proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
? You may be required to transfer callers to other entities according to current guidelines
? Utilize databases and written materials to look up and provide information to telephone inquiries
? Adhere to the Privacy Act as it relates to the confidentiality of information provided by callers.
? At times, you will encounter "back to back" calls. It is essential for you to be comfortable in this type of setting.

To qualify
? You must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
? At least 2 years of relevant customer care experience
? Effective communicator with a strong ability to provide empathy and an excellent customer experience
? Strong data entry and telephone skills
? Proficient internet navigation skills
? Working knowledge of MS Office and the ability to learn/utilize new software applications
? Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
? Be willing to work under an immediate supervisor; accept and learn from feedback
? Must be wiling to submit company and client background checks
? We will pay you to complete online training, but you must commit to attending 100% of the training, no missed time
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
? Desktop or laptop with Windows 10, or Mac OS Mojave (or newer MacOS)
? Computer Requirements: Dual Core 2 GHz+ processor, 4GB RAM minimum, 20GB hard drive space.
? All peripherals must be wired
? Must have reliable high-speed internet, 20MB download minimum, 10MB upload minimum.
? DSL, Cable, or Fiber internet ONLY (absolutely no Wi-Fi or satellite-based service)
? For this position, a wired USB headset with built-in microphone and noise cancellation is required.
? We do require that you have an active, functioning webcam.
? A second monitor/screen is highly recommended
THE DETAILS!
The pay rate is $15.00 per hour for English speaking $16 for Bilingual (Spanish/English)
In addition to your base hourly wage, you will receive an additional $4.54 benefit (for your first 40 hours each week) for a total of $19.54 or $20.54 for your first 40 hours worked each week.
