We're hiring a dedicated RN or LPN to work as scheduler for a 90-bed skilled nursing facility in beautiful Windham, CT.
Shift :7:30am – 3:30pm
Hours :40 hours per week

Duties
Complete new schedules by the third week of the current schedule
Maximize scheduling by balancing the number of personnel on a daily basis
Ensure adequate coverage, covers call-ins by asking employees to cover the shift, keeping agency usage to a minimum
Advise DNS of information regarding the inability to cover call-ins, staffing patterns for the following 24 hour period, floating patterns
Preplan all scheduled time off, coverage and s ubmit written requests for vacation, status changes, personal days, LOA's, discussion of resignations, and/or open positions
Ensure units are adequately staffed during peak vacation times
Meet with Director of Nursing daily to discuss staffing issues
Maintain files on current requests, past requests and agency bills.
Communicate approvals/denials to employee requests.
Qualifications
Active RN or LPN license in the state of Connecticut
Experience using ADP
Basic computer skills
Knowledge of long-term care practices
Preferred:2 years of experience in SNF or related healthcare setting
